Pearl Farm, Samal Island Davao City

If you travel to the southern part of the Philippines, the Samal group of Islands (nine islands in all) is a beautiful, tranquil, exotic island with a coastline adorned with white sand beaches, colorful marine life, flourishing flora and fauna. The Pearl Farm is nestled on the quiet side of Samal Isalnd, a 45 min. boat ride from the wharf, and is a world-class resort. The named Pearl Farm came to be because this area was once an 11 hectare pearl farm with thousands of white-lipped oysters.

Mactan Island, Cebu

Mactan Island is located just a few kilometers from Cebu. From Cebu you need to cross either of the two bridges - Mactan Bridge or Marcelo Fernan Bridge to reach Mactan. This island has all the major beach resorts offering diving, snokling, jet skiing, para sailing, island hopping and where the historical Lapu-Lapu Shrine can be found. Datu Lapu-Lapu, one of the chieftains at that time, was engaged in a tribal warfare with Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan.

The lovely beaches with a water temperature between 27-30 C is ideal for diving or swimming all year round. You can also visit Malapascua Island, famous for its white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters or Moalboal, one of the first places where scuba diving caught on.

El Nido, Palawan

A lot of travelers are fascinated with El Nido due to its scenic landscapes, crystal clear waters and the relative isolation that offers a person quiet relaxation. There are 45 islands and islets with the surrounding sea that provides a lot of adventure and enjoying the pleasures that nature brings.

You can engage in kayaking in lagoons, go on a mangrove tour, snorkeling or diving with tropical fishes, fishing, bird watching, picnic lunches of sunbathing in a white sand beach, among others.

Panglao Island, Bohol

Bohol is the tenth largest island of the Philippines and is located in the middle of the Visayas region. Because it is surrounded by other islands on all sides, it doesn't experience as much heavy typhoons and rains unlike the other parts of the region.

The beaches are located in Panglao Island. One of the most developed beach on Panglao is the Alona Beach. It is located southwest of the island and stretches about one and a half kilometers long. There are a lot of nice, affordable resorts equipped with diving, snorkeling and dining establishments.

A friendly warning: sea urchins inhabit the sea in large numbers around twenty or thirty meters away so be careful when wading.

Boracay is a tropical island famous for its white sand beaches and can rival the popular beaches in the Carribean and the South Pacific area. The White Beach is what most people love about Boracay. It is a lovely stretch of powdery white sand against azure water. This very long beach is divided into three stations with station 1 having the widest beach front area and where prime hotels and resorts are found.

The most suitable months for swimming on the White Beach is during the dry season --from November to April. But on the other side of the island where there are large winds and waves, wind surfing and wave running are activities that you can engage in.

The rainy seasons which falls on the months from June to October, the reverse thing happens. White Beach now has large waves and makes it unsuitable for swimming.

Mahigit isang buwan nawala sa sirkulasyon ang Pop Princess na si Sarah Geronimo. Nagpunta siya sa U.S. para magbakasyon at kumuha na rin ng voice and dance lessons.

Noong Miyerkules, July 6, ay nakausap ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Sarah sa rehearsal niya para sa concert na What Love Is. Dito niya ikinuwento sa amin ang mahigit isang buwang pamamalagi niya sa ibang bansa.

"I feel refreshed and well rested din," simula niya.

"Kahit papaano nandun yung peace, na-experience ko yung peace dun.

"Yung bonding ko kasama si Mommy [Divine Geronimo], mga tita ko, pinsan ko na pinatuloy kami sa bahay nila.

"Bakasyon siya for more than a month.

"Nag-dance and voice lessons din ako, may hip-hop, jazz sa singing... Huwag na tayong maging detailed, hindi naman kasi siya surprise, pero okay na yun.

"Ginawa ko yun dahil alam ko na kailangan ng improvement sa akin as a singer, as a dancer, as a performer."

Matagal nang usap-usapan sa showbiz ang diumano'y pagseselos ni Matteo Guidicelli kay Coco Martin dahil sa iisang babae na nali-link sa kanila—si Maja Salvador.

Si Matteo ang napapabalitang boyfriend ni Maja.

Samantalang si Coco ay naging co-star ng aktres sa katatapos lang na teleseryeng Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin, kung saan napapabalitang tila nagka-develop-an daw ang dalawa.

Naikuwento ni Mr. M na matagal na raw nilang alam na nagseselos nga si Matteo kay Coco na naging kapareha ni Maja sa teleserye. Subalit hindi raw niya inasahan na aabot sa ganito ang lahat.

Kim Chiu shrugs off rumored rift with Erich Gonzales; bonds with new friends Angelica Panganiban and Maja Salvador

Sa pag-uwi ng Star Magic talents galing sa kanilang U.S. tour last April, kapansin-pansin ang kakaibang closeness na nabuo kina Kim Chiu, Angelica Panganiban, at Maja Salvador.

Balita na sa mga lakaran at activities na ginawa nila sa nasabing tour ay laging magkasama ang tatlo.

Nahaluan nga lang ng intriga ang lahat nang lumabas ang interview ni Angelica sa TV Patrol kung saan maaanghang na salita ang binitawan nito patungkol kay Erich Gonzales.

Lumabas kasi sa kuwento na palihim daw na nagpunta ng Tagaytay si Erich at ipinakilala ito ni Derek Ramsay sa kanyang ina. Paborito daw kasi ng ina ni Derek si Erich na nakasama ng aktor sa Magkaribal.

Ayon pa sa mga lumabas na kuwento, naituro ang pangalan ni Kim na siya raw nagparating kay Angelica ng tungkol sa minsanang paglabas nina Derek at Erick.

Magkaibigan din sina Kim at Erich, na parehong kabilang sa barkadahang "Chiurigogobashu."

Nang hingan ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) ng reaksiyon tungkol dito si Kim sa taping ng My Binondo Girl last week, paiwas siyang magbigay ng komento.

"Next question, please. Luma nang issue 'yang kay Erich," sabi ni Kim.

Napipikon ba siya kapag napag-uusapan ang isyung ito?

"Hindi naman sa napipikon, parang naaano lang na paulit-ulit kasi, e, hindi naman talaga totoo.

"Hindi ko alam kung saan nanggaling yun.

"Kahit kami nila Melissa [Ricks], nila Erich, 'O, ayan na naman, parang bakit? Ano ang problema?'

"Sila naman, may iba ding kaibigan, hindi sila-sila lang."

Nilinaw rin ni Kim na walang away sa pagitan nila ni Erich, na siyang itinuturong rason kung bakit nagsalita raw siya kay Angelica.

"Kami, continous naman ang communication namin, okay naman kami, ganun pa rin.

"Lumalabas at nagba-bonding pa rin kami," sabi ni Kim.

Sa hiwalay na panayam ay nilinaw na rin ni Derek ang isyung ito. Sinabi niyang alam daw ito ni Angelica. (CLICK HERE to read related story.)

MELISSA RICKS. Tinanong din ng PEP si Kim kung may komunikasyon pa sila ni Melissa Ricks, at kung ano ang suportang ibinibigay niya sa kaibigan ngayong break na ito at si Jake Cuenca.

"Nag-uusap kami minsan. Nag-text siya kung ano ang gagawin niya.

"Nandun lang naman ako at isang text lang, nagre-reply ako agad.

Kris Aquino on settlement with James Yap: "It was fair. I don't think he was greedy.

May lumabas na report na "P48 million" diumano ang nakuhang pera ni James Yap sa settlement ng annulment case nila ng dating asawa na si Kris Aquino.

Dahil nga raw rito kaya binibiro ng ibang tao ang PBA player na ang yaman-yaman na raw nito, at naging "instant millionaire" na raw ito dahil sa perang nakuha sa nasabing settlement.

Pero sa panayam ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) kay Kris, sa first shooting day ng pelikula nila ni Dingdong Dantes na Segunda Mano noong September 5, dinepensahan ng TV host-actress ang dating asawa tungkol sa balitang lumabas.

"No, I won't comment, papagalitan ako ni Judge," simula niya.

"Alam ninyo, 'wag naman nilang maliitin si James. MVP [Most Valuable Player] naman siya, malaki naman ang kita niya.

"Ayoko din naman kasi na sabihin niya na wala na nga ako sa buhay niya, nakikialam pa ako.

"Hayaan n'yo na siya kasi hinahayaan naman niya ako.

"Kanina was our last hearing, so I wish him well."

Kuwento pa ni Kris, "The kids spent the weekend with him coz I was abroad and, in fairness to him, pati si Josh isinama niya. They went to Subic. "

Si Josh ang anak ni Kris mula sa dati niyang karelasyon na si Phillip Salvador.

"Okay kami and, you know, we're not close, and I'm not pretending na close kami. It's not like we talk, we text.

"We're civil and he's good to my children, so okay na yun."

BIMBY UNDERSTANDS. Hindi ba siya nahihirapan na ipaliwanag kay Bimby ang sitwasyon nila ni James?

"Ay, okay naman siya kasi yesterday, hinatid siya ng Papa niya.

"Nagkasalubong kami sa lobby, tapos parang nilalapit niya ang mga kamay namin.

"Tapos tinanong namin siya nung umalis ang Papa niya, 'Do you like your Papa to stay here?'

"Sabi niya, 'No, Mama, because he'll be bored here with us.'

"Sabi ko, 'Why?'

Ang sagot niya, 'Because he likes other things... What does he like, basketball. What do you like, movies.'

"I asked him again, 'How often do you like to see Papa?'
